Name of project: the study regarding the security in payments done through wireless and mobiles

Within the career episode in first stage, a description is provided by the author, regarding what he did during his pursue of Master’s degree. The name of project was “a study of Security in Wireless and Mobile Payments”. While pursuing the project, the author was assigned with some responsibilities and duties. His first responsibility was regarding the study of payment methods done through mobile devices. Apart from that he was also to put his focus on the aspects of wireless security. Next responsibility of the author was to study popular wireless devices, the 3G and 802.11 extensively along with their extensive comparison. The comparison and study was to be done through a security view point. Further responsibilities were regarding the study of security mechanisms that were involved within each network present and the way they worked. His further responsibility was to undertake determination regarding the needs consulting the secure system of payments done through mobile devices. He was also to undertake examinations regarding the offering of a fairly acceptable security level for the payments done through mobile devices. It was merely towards the user in average.

Name of the project: Integration of Networks between UMTS Networks and Wireless LAN Networks

Within the career episode in second stage, an explanation is given by author regarding the skills of engineering. The skills were used by the author while pursuing the concerned project. Regarding the pursuing of project, few of the responsibilities were imposed on author. His first responsibility was to provide a study in relevance to the integration of networks. The network integration was to be done in between UMTS networks and WLAN networks. His next responsibility was to put his focus over the descriptions, which were in relevance to the management of handoff regarding the networks of communication. Further responsibilities of the author took the inclusion of undergoing improvement regarding overall quality consulting the network services. His next responsibility was to put his focus on the needs regarding vertical handoff that are having efficiencies within the communication field. Apart from that the focus was also to be put on integration of various types of networks within the network of communication. Further responsibilities included the provision of model of analytics along with a model of simulations. The models are supposed to be put into usage regarding the performance evaluation consulting the architecture of interworking.

Name of the project: Access Controls Based on Role in a Network of Operations of Telecommunication along with Maintenance

Within the career episode in third stage, a demonstration was given by the author regarding his skills of techniques. The skills were used by author in order to undertake the completion of the project in the form of a student within the final year. His project was “Role Based Access Control in a Telecommunications Operations and Maintenance Network”. Regarding the pursuing of project, few of the responsibilities were imposed on author. There were various requirements while simulating the model for an access control. The first responsibility of author was to undertake investigations regarding the needs for simulations the model of access control. The next responsibility of the author was to undertake management regarding permissions along with equipments within larger numbers within the network of telecommunications. Further, he was to provide an investigation regarding the usage of tools consulting commercial ones. The tools considered are to be the commonly used regarding the RBAC administration. Further responsibilities were regarding the evaluation of effectiveness of tools while coping with models that were newly proposed. Other responsibilities were the designing along with implementation of managing system of RBAC. It is to be termed for suiting with requirements that are to be posed within the new model.
